Risen from dust with unfolded wings
Years have gone by enlightening my soul
Into purity and salvation it leads
Arrived so gently, passed through the cold
It’s the Messiah, it whispers my name
Me and perhaps some others it may save
Things will never be the same again
Don’t be afraid, just stay by my side
No need to leave me now, run far away and hide
The dark times are gone, the Sun has come out
Never ever will leave me the peace I’ve found...

Things have changed down to the ground,
Finally I espy all the open doors
Take my breath, don’t bring me down
Feels like once again I’ve been born
I gave up everything I ever had
And finally it paid off.
